The ZonePRO installation guide lists four models. TB7980B is the multiple-output modulating model, beside TB7980A single-output modulating and the TB6980A and TB6980B floating models. The guide says these digital thermostats provide proportional plus integral individual space temperature control in zoned commercial HVAC systems such as hydronic and pressure dependent VAV with or without reheat.

It says a thermostat can have up to three outputs. For B models, one application is damper or valve actuator control with duct reheat and auxiliary heat. On TB7980 models, output 1 uses the AN1 and COM terminals. Output 2 (T2/AN2 and T2/COM) and output 3 (T3) are identified for the TB6980B and TB7980B models. Other terminals in the table are 24 VAC and COM power, an external sensor input, a mode changeover input, and a night setback input. Accessories named in the guide are the R841 family of electromechanical relays, the T7770A3002 and 50014156-002 remote room sensors, the 32004800-001 bare thermistor, and the 50014157-001 duct temperature sensor.
