VCZAL1100

This page describes VCZAL1100 as a 3/4 inch female NPT VC valve assembly with a 4.7 Cv rating. The cartridge cage valve brochure lists VCZAL1100 on the 3/4 inch female NPT row at 4.7 Cv with a linear flow characteristic. The VCZA, B, M, and N submittal shows the VCZ AL body as 3/4 inch NPT internal, and the 1100 cartridge column on that row is 4.7 Cv.

Series notes on that submittal say the valve is a body plus a replaceable characterized cartridge, that replacing the cartridge rebuilds the valve, and that two-way bodies may be plumbed in either direction. Actuators are ordered separately and use cam-operated cartridge travel to resist water hammer, with limit switches to prevent motor overrun. The sheet lists operating ambient of 32 to 150 F at 5 to 95 percent RH non-condensing, fluid temperatures of 34 to 203 F, and shipping and storage from -40 to 150 F. Materials listed are a bronze body, Ryton and Noryl cartridge, EPDM O-rings, and a stainless steel stem. Pressure ratings listed are 300 psig static maximum, 1500 psig burst, and 60 psi maximum operating differential and close-off. Stem travel is 0.4 inches.
